De-Breath, Click, Pop, Noise Elimination and Melodyne Vocal Tuning. Lead Vocal and up to Three Harmony Tracks. for $125

Hi! Jed here from Nashville. I'm glad YOU are here!
Your vocal track should be de-breathed and noise free before you tune it. Most folks won't take the time to do that and you will get unpleasant artifacts from the tuning process as a result. The difference is definitely audible especially in a ballad with quiet passages. A bit of the breath sounds natural and good but many times vocalists breaths are very loud and the performance sounds better with the breaths turned down a bit or eliminated all together. Everything I do is non destructive so when I send you the vocal back you can decide if you like it with or without the breathes!
I use Melodyne exclusively to tune vocals. It takes a lot more patience and craft than just running it through Autotune but the results are worth it! If the vocal is within a quarter to half tone of the correct pitch it can be tuned naturally, perfectly and without any artifacts. If the vocal is more than a half tone sharp or flat it may not be possible to tune it without artifacts. (it will sound robotic) In this case, the vocalist needs to study the correct pitches (with a piano or guitar) and recut the vocals. I will tell you honestly up front if your vocal is tunable without artifacts. I can also tune a few of the most questionable lines of the vocal and send it to you for your approval. If you are satisfied, I will tune the entire track and everyone is happy! If not, you've lost nothing and can decide what you want to do at that point. When I am producing an artist I will have them sing a scratch vocal track. I tune the track perfectly so they can spend time with it, listening to it and singing with it. Their mind memorizes the pitches and their vocal chords remember the muscle memory required to sing those notes on pitch. When they cut the final vocal for real, they are so much better prepared and on pitch so my vocal tuning job is minimal and the vocal comes out amazing! Something to think about for future songs.
