I specialize in mixing alternative genres. My aim is to help unsigned underground bands and independent artists compete with label releases - not letting a poor mix hold them back.

As music production becomes more corporate and formulaic, we need independent bands and musicians producing real art, not a production line for something safe. Against this backdrop of AI-slop and by-the-numbers releases, I want to help shape your tracks into the best they can be and to be heard against that noise.

Whether you're a band or artist looking for the finishing touches to get it over the line, to address previous issues or maybe something more collaborative — please get in touch. For self-recording artists, there’s no need to wrestle with your mixes. You've spent time writing, arranging and recording your tracks. Rather than get bogged down in the final mix process, let's work together to get the tracks finished and ready for release.

My mixing process isn't about receiving your session recording, working on it in isolation, then presenting you with the mix to either accept or reject. I want to talk with you about the track and what you want to achieve. To discuss any rough mixes and what references you may have.

You will supply a set of multitracks to work with. Don't worry if you're not sure what’s required, I can provide a checklist of requirements and formats so that there shouldn't be any issues. But if you have any specific needs, I am more than happy to work with you on alternatives.

I will provide you with commercial quality final mixes ready for mastering, in addition to client mixes that you can compare with your existing playlists. If you need additional stems, alternate mixes, etc, let me know.

If you need the project mastered, I can provide output files for uploading to streaming sevices. But if you require a full mastering service (CD Redbook/DDP or for vinyl cutting) I can help find the right service.
