Before producing, I look at your references, existing music, personality, influences, emotional intention and the ideas surrounding the song. I want to understand what the record is actually trying to communicate before deciding what sounds should exist inside it. (I recommend taking my creative identity consultation before production)

My wider work and study explores music neuroscience and psychology, particularly emotion, perception, memory, attention and listener response. I use those ideas as another lens when making production decisions, not to make the music clinical, but to understand more deeply how sound communicates feeling.

I work comfortably across hip-hop, alternative, electronic, ambient, cinematic, pop and hybrid styles. I often combine genres rather than forcing a song into one category.
