They know how to make music. They have references, ideas, emotions, unfinished songs, but their sound still feels scattered, derivative, or disconnected from who they actually are. Because of how the music industry is set up these days a lot of us forget that music is a form of self expression, it has been like for thousands of years since the dawn of humans.

I try to flip the entire process of making music. Instead of making music and finding identity, I will help you find your identity and then create music that expresses that identity. It is a lost art.

I also actively study music neuroscience and psychology, particularly emotion, perception, memory and inner expression, and I use that knowledge to better understand why certain sounds connect, why others don’t, and how an artist can become more recognizable without becoming predictable like the music industry incentivizes us too.
