Drum Stems For Your Tracks for $50

I'm fully rigged up with Amedia Galata Cymbals, Remo Control Dot heads, and a Ludwig Black Magic 14x8" snare, which has proven more than capable of handling a huge variety of styles and genres. For a more crisp and clean tone, I use a Mapex Meridian drum kit in fusion sizes (10/12/14) which adequately packs a punch for anything from swing to latin to rock and metal. For softer, more relaxed tones, I use a Jalapeno kit with a 14x5.5" snare, 18" kick and 13/15" tom set up, and is better suited for softer indie, reggae, folk, jazz and soft rock.

I use a combination of Presonus, Behringer and Shure mics for recording, a Tascam 8x16 interface in Reaper. My studio room is sound controlled to absorb 80% reflection, with treatment panels mixed and matched in a specific way to fully control the sound of the room.

When it comes to recording, I tend to do a 4 mic demo set for clients to demonstrate written parts (Kick, Snare, 2 Overheads), which I will revise until you are happy with the parts if there's no immediate deadline. I then use these demos as ghost tracks once everything has been signed off. If there's a short deadline, I'll try to get everything perfect after 1 or 2 revisions. For anything using different time signature changes, tempo changes or tempo indications, such as a rall, I will just need to know where these are, or a guide track to create a tempo map to.

I've been on and off the remote recording game for a while, but now taking it more seriously and have, since December 2024, been actively taking on more jobs. I've worked with local artists (local to me), such as Sam Beagles and Tom Addams, as well as film and TV composer Aaron Hook, and video game composer Lucas Busetto.
