Who am I?
My name is Jake and I’m a working drummer. When I’m not in my studio I tour the UK with tribute bands, perform in musicals, and work on my band, Khaki Scouts. I have studied with many of the worlds greatest drummers; Dave Weckl, Peter Erskine, Neal Wilkinson and Pete Riley.
I love working with different artists; doing something different everyday. I’m sure I’ll love working with you too. I want you to be comfortable with me; my sessions are always relaxed and friendly to get the best results.
RECORDING CREDITS: Luke Burr, Lisey Tigra, AJ Hans, Jakob Falcon, Miranda Amess, Aderyn
What can I do for you?
Simply, I can bring you a great drum take for your music!
I provide 8 tracks of high-quality drumming(24 bit, 44.1/48/96kHz) plus any extra percussion or overdubs that are needed. Sometimes a song just needs that little extra cherry on top. These are included at no extra charge. You’re paying for a complete drum/percussion part, not just a main drum take!
World-class gear from companies such as, Yamaha, Ludwig, Mapex, Sonor, Zildjian, Sabian, Paiste, Shure, Røde, AKG, Focusrite, Genelec, and Apple.
What will you receive and when?
I offer 2 revisions, with the first provided within 24 hours of when I hit record. Of course, I’d rather you leave satisfied with my service so if a small 3rd revision is needed, then that's what I will do.
I will send you an mp3 after each session to allow you to listen and provide feedback. You then sign off on the final take when you’re 100% happy and I will send over the stems as wav files.
I’ll also include a simple stereo bounce to give you something quick and easy to record along with. You can worry about the individual stems at the mix phase, allowing you to focus on the thing you do best - creating music!
What do I need from you?
Your track with and without drums(If you have any programmed)
An idea of the beat and sound you’re after
We can of course go more in-depth and chat about your music, thoughts, influences, the lyrics, what’s the song about? I want to enter your world and record a drum part that fits what you are looking for and portrays the emotion of your song.
I look forward to hearing what you’re working on!
