EP MASTERING with TEYP DOG for $100
I’m an Audio Engineer for more than 13 Years, with Allmusic (as Mahmood Sadeghi) and IMDB (as Gainstage Mastering) credits. I’m holding a Masters Degree in Sound Engineering and Design. At the moment I engineer and produce my own work, under the artist name Teyp Dog. I’ve had experience with analog and digital hybrid mastering. However, for this service, I’ll be using RME ADI-2 DAC convertor with Quested S7R monitors and the process will be fully digital. The reason I opened this service and named it EP MASTERING with TEYP DOG was curiosity from some fellow musicians about the way Teyp Dog sounds. Why EP?! I chose to work on EPs since a single for me is not enough to get connected to the concept of the sound and an album will be so time consuming... also not so many underground artists making it anymore. EPs are just the right number of songs for me to get connected. I usually find one revision healthy for both engineer and musician, and from experience I can say it’s not good for artistic perspective after that. However I’m willing to do up to three revisions. The success of the outcome really depends on the mix, although I usually put to gather, something with unification, a lot of character and an overall easy listen, even if the music is heavy or harsh by nature.
