I consider any song I write with an Airgigs client to be an even split of the Songwriter and Publisher's shares. My fee is $275.
If you'd like me to forfeit my even share of the writer and publisher rights, I can write the song as a work-for-hire, meaning the Airgigs client keeps 100% of the underlying rights. My fee for this is $500.

Today I write with younger artists most of the time, more pop than country and more indie/alt than pop. From one genre to the next, I simply change vernacular. A song is only a lyric and melody over a chord change. Once that part is crafted perfectly, the rest is production etc. etc.
