80s Style Vocal Leads and/or Backgrounds for $199

Hi! I am an R&B singer with wide range and unique qualities who has been compared to a variety of 80s pop and r&b vocalists, although I do have my own unique sound. If you are looking for that style, tone, phrasing, etc, I'm your man. I can fit within R&B and pop styles from the likes of Michael McDonald, Peabo Bryson, James Ingram, Luther Vandross, as well as some pop/rock oriented styles including Roland Orzabal (Tears for Fears), Mark Hollis (Talk Talk), Rick Astley, Philip Oakley (Human League), etc: Anyone with that full-bodied lower midrange type of sound that was popular in the 80s.

My range is C2 to C5 in full voice and beyond C6 using alternate techniques. You will likely need to do little work on my tracks, as they will be close to a finished sound. However it is somewhat dependent on your provided backing track. The closer your background track is to finished, the closer my tracks will sound finished. This is not achieved with post-production techniques, e.g. editing, Autotune, effects, etc, but rather getting it right during the performance. I typically do not need much, if any pitch correction, for example. I am also a long-time recording engineer and multi-instrumentalist with my own strategically treated studio utilizing quite a bit of high end gear. I own over 50 mics, for example, although I go between three in particular for my own vocals.

You will receive one lead vocal track along with doubles of at least one harmony against the lead vocal in key locations (I rarely if ever perform harmonies over the whole song). Revisions do not include re-doing the whole song, but rather a small and limited number of sections you feel do not correlate with the rest of the vocals already in place. In the rare instance this happens, please give detailed feedback on what it is you are looking for.

Please note that MAXIMUM DAYS TO COMPLETE can vary widely depending on my workload, but will be less than the number listed. It's deliberately set at a high number for times of high workload. Airgigs is not a substantial source of work for me, and I am otherwise always very busy in the studio.
