Artists tend to seek collaboration with me for my versatility, range, and willingness to take an unconventional approach when the song needs it. I have 35 years of experience writing, arranging and performing vocals in a variety of genres. I'm frequently compared to Annie Lennox of The Eurythmics, Mark Hollis of Talk Talk, Nina Simone, and David Sylvian.
My personal studio is very basic since I'm mainly a vocalist / bassist:
I continue to get the best and most interesting results, with my NT1s, SM58s, and a Green Bullet (which I often run through guitar effects rather than vocal effects). I'm using a UA Apollo with ProTools. Stems will be dry. No EQ, effects or compression.
