I'm Martin Evans, a UK-born, Philly-based remote session drummer. I offer organic, live-played MIDI drum tracks as the perfect alternative to programmed drums. Ideal for artists, bands, and producers who want the flexibility of MIDI with the feel of a real drummer.

I’m a song drummer at heart. The goal is always to serve the music and not let ego get in the way. Put aside any fears you may have about MIDI drums. These are 100% live performances captured on an e-kit with no programming and absolutely NO AI. You are hearing me. Every sample is handpicked. Every hit is performed. Every fill serves the song.

I’ve been playing for almost forty years now and have been remote recording for the last five. Recent clients include Long Night, Mike Lawson & Friends featuring Phil Keaggy, and Celtic World Orchestra, appearing on releases alongside Iain Hornal and Fiona Joy Hawkins. I also work with emerging artists and songwriters, including Alex Catchings and Henry Louris. My roots are in rock and pop, but I've touched most genres during my career. Delivery is within five days, depending on the material and my availability. A 24-hour turnaround is available for an extra charge. I offer three revisions.
