I’m Mart Evans, an experienced remote session drummer who delivers organic MIDI drum tracks for artists and producers who want the flexibility of MIDI with a real drummer’s touch. As a player, I love dynamics and space in a drum track, and I consider myself very much a song drummer. While my roots are in rock and pop, I’m versatile and comfortable across most genres. The one constant, no matter the style, is that I serve the song. Everything I do is played live with no shortcuts, then delivered in the format that works best for your session. I use technology sparingly to ensure that anything that leaves my studio feels organic and, most importantly, musical.

Delivery of your final files will be within three days. If you're up against a deadline, then let me know and I'll let you know if I can accommodate you (no extra charge for that). I also don't charge for revisions as long as it doesn't get away from us. I always provide the raw MIDI file of the performance mapped to the VST of your choice. If you use Toontrack products, I can provide the relevant project files. Audio can be provided as multitrack and a single stereo reference mix stem. I have a virtual drum warehouse of libraries to source sounds from, so if you have a sound in your head, I'm pretty sure we can find it.
