I will record professional live drums for your rock, pop or indie song for $200

Looking for live drums that feel like they belong on your record?

I’m Max Trefler, a session drummer based in Toronto. I’ve recorded with Ruby Waters, Dear Rouge, Hollerado, Altered by Mom, jackie, and Modele, and toured with Hollerado, Altered by Mom, and jackie, plus many more.

I’ll create and record a drum part around your song, not drop a generic groove underneath it. I can follow your programmed drums closely, build on an existing idea, or develop something from scratch.

ESSENTIAL SESSION — US$200

For one song up to five minutes:

A custom live drum performance tailored to your track.

Individually exported raw drum multitracks.

A stereo drum mix for easy listening and reference.

Files prepared in the agreed format for your session.

As many revisions as needed within our agreed song and creative direction.

Detailed timing editing if requested.

Processed multitracks or stems if requested.

Percussion overdubs agreed before recording.

TURNAROUND

A first version is typically ready within 24–48 hours after I receive your materials and we confirm the booking. Revision and final-delivery timing depend on the scope and how quickly we exchange feedback. Message me first if you have a firm deadline.

HOW WE’LL WORK

Send your song, references, and any notes about the drum part.

We’ll confirm the sound, direction, deliverables, and deadline.

I’ll record and send a listening mix for feedback.

After revisions and approval, I’ll deliver the agreed files.

Have a longer song, an EP, or something outside the usual format? Message me for a custom quote.

Send me your demo and let’s find the right drums for it.
