I’m Max Trefler, a Toronto-based session drummer recording custom live drums for artists and producers worldwide.

My recording credits include Ruby Waters, Dear Rouge, Hollerado, Altered by Mom, and jackie. I’ve also toured with Hollerado, Altered by Mom, and jackie.

My approach is simple: find the sound, feel, and part that serve your song. Whether you have a detailed programmed demo or want me to develop a part from scratch, I’ll work with you to give the track the right foundation.

I offer remote drum recording with raw multitracks, stereo drum mixes, and options for detailed editing, processed tracks, and percussion. First versions are typically ready within 24–48 hours once we’ve confirmed availability and I have everything needed to begin.

Send me your demo, a reference or two, and your deadline. We’ll talk through the direction and choose the right approach for your project.
