I love working with artists and producers to capture exactly what will elevate their music to sound exactly as they imagined it. I will work with you to find the right sound and energy for the bass parts on your song, whether it is the muted thump of a vintage p-bass, the aggressive sound of a 5-string humbucker running through a fuzz pedal, or a chill vibes of an upright bass to accompany your acoustic guitar.

I am happy to work with parts that you have already composed, either learning by ear or reading notation, whichever works for you. Alternatively I can come up with my own ideas to guide the track in whatever direction you wish. Simply send me your track and we can discuss what you have in mind.

Following the first take, you'll have two revisions to make sure we refine and perfect your music. Once you're happy, I will send you the unmixed raw tracks (including a clean DI signal, a mic'd amp signal and any other relevant tracks where other sounds have been used). Or if you'd prefer, I can send you a mixed track with my suggested processing for a cohesive bass sound.

Jamie has worked with artists including La Voix, Twinnie, Arjun Kanungo, Aderyn, Tina Boonstra, the Skinny Lattes and more. He has also appeared on countless stages in iconic venues and major festivals around the world, as well as playing bass in a variety of musicals around the UK. He has over 20 years recording and performing experience in most genres and believes that a good bass line knows when to give space to the other musicians and when to take the lead.
