Mastering is the final step of music production, the final touch to make your songs commercially attractive and compete with the standard sound of the most famous productions.
What I will do is work on the stereo track of your mix and take care of dynamics, EQ, saturation, stereo image, increase the perceived volume and manage the loudness.
I use an analog compressor and several mastering plugins such as FabFilter, Plugin Alliance, Tone Projects, Tokyo Dawn Labs, Voxengo...
Let me know if your track will be for digital distribution, if it will be pressed on CD or vinyl, the mastering processes are different.
