Pedal Steel Guitar for $125

Pedal Steel Picker based in the foothills of Eastern Kentucky. I currently tour with Alex Miller and gig with various artists/bands around KY. I was fortunate to do a good amount of recording this past year (mix of in studio & overdubs) and figured it was time to put myself out there.

I love traditional country but I’m not one to box pedal steel into that category alone. Steel can add something unique to all genres of music and I’m comfortable creating or matching any vibe on your project. Check out some of my playing under the “audio” tab above :)

For $125, you'll get one 'collective' steel track (E9 or C6), but happy to add alternative solos/parts that you could choose from. If doing multiple songs, we can figure out a custom project rate, holler at me.

I have two main steels I use to record: an 81' Sho-Bud Super Pro D-10 with single coils for a warm, vintage tone and a 2024 Zum Encore single neck with a humbucker for more modern tones. I use Logic Pro. Generally, I'll record direct with a Strymon Iridium (loaded with several IR options) or mic a Peavey Nashville 400 (silver corner).

My pedalboard is small but efficient with:
* Sarno Earth Overdrive for rocky lap steel vibes
* MXR Phaser for spacey or outlaw country vibes
* Dobro simulator
* Strymon Blue Sky V2 with tons of reverb shaping (shimmer is really cool for ambient vibes)
* Plus various effects within Logic Pro

My LinkTree is in my profile description. It has all my socials and a playlist with all the released songs I've played on if you want to hear more (several unreleased but I update as they come out).
