Hello there and thanks for taking the time to view my service.

My name’s Rick. I’ve been producing artists and bands since 1995, beginning with studio production for my own band, and later for a range of clients across a wide variety of genres.

I’ve produced, and written songs, for artists on deep house, dance, EDM, jazz, folk, hip-hop & rock projects.
My professional experience playing in all sorts of bands from punk, rock, pop and jazz has further helped develop my producer skills.

I love to work with like-minded artists who are serious about their work, and I find the arranging and production experience to be very rewarding.

Among the various project genres in which I’ve produced, I work particularly well in the following styles:

My studio is home to some classic pieces of instrument hardware such as:
Roland D-70 synth, Korg 01/W synth, Roland Super JV-1080 & Yamaha Motif-Rack ES sound modules.
I also have a collection of acoustic and electric guitars, and a five-string bass.
I run Logic Pro X and I have access to a range of instrument software plug-ins including:
* Kontakt 7
* Spitfire Audio
* Applied Acoustic Systems
* Omnisphere
* Rob Papen
* Even an authentic Korg M1 synth plug-in for those iconic ‘90s sounds!

I consider working with an artist to be a unique experience every time, I therefore have no set rules on how the production process should progress.
If you’d like to hire me for your project, we should meet via video, get to know each other a little and take it from there.

Upon completion of a project my clients are provided with a great mix of their finished song in a high-quality audio file (WAV or AIFF format 48kHz, 24 bit). I can also provide the Logic Pro project folder if required.

Please note that this service does not include mastering - I prefer to leave that specialist skill in the hands of suitable professionals.
