Professional remote cello recording, delivered from my own home studio in Japan.

With over 20 years of performance experience — including collaborations with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Joe Hisaishi — I bring both technical precision and musical depth to every session. I perform on a French cello by Lambert, made in 1750.

I'm equally comfortable playing precise, classical-style lines or improvising in a more contemporary, pop, or ethnic-inspired voice, drawing on influences from Indian and Eastern European music.
My background in live looping and electronics also lets me bring atmospheric, effects-driven textures when your track calls for it.
Pricing guide:

$50 — up to 30 seconds of cello, 1 track, personal/demo use, HQ audio file
$150 — up to 3 minutes, arranged to your track, commercial use included
$300 — mixing, arranging, sheet music, commercial use

My recording chain: RME Fireface UCX II, UAD Apollo Twin, and a modeling microphone (UA Sphere DLX) — mic position, polar pattern, and even brand adjustable after recording via UA plugins.
I work in Logic Pro 12, Ableton Live 12, and Dorico for notation and composition.
