I am a professional musician from Hungary, currently living in the Netherlands. I have been playing cello from age 5, and graduated as a cellist from the Music Academy in Hungary. For 5 years, I studied viola da gamba at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Music is my profession, but also my passion and hobby. I like to experiment in different styles and genres, but my specialization is classical music and early music. I play in orchestras and chamber music groups all over Europe, and I have made several recordings in the past 10 years.
I have three instruments: high quality, handmade professional cello, viola da gamba and baroque cello.
Do you know the viola da gamba? It is a beautiful instrument with ancient history - the sound is special, warm with a lot of resonance. We use gut strings on the instrument, which gives a very unique tone. Check out my recordings to get to know it!
