I will record microtonal and world-color guitar parts for your track for $90

Need guitar that breaks out of Western 12-tone? Looking for tones the standard scale can't reach?

Most session guitarists deliver the same 12 notes as everyone else. But sometimes a song needs more — quartertones for Middle Eastern color, bent intervals for desert-blues feel, microtonal slides for tension, or simply notes that live between the frets.
That's what this gig is for.

What you get

1 microtonal or world-color guitar part on your song (up to 4 minutes)
Recorded with my [à compléter : "refretted 24-EDO guitar" / "fretless guitar" / "expressive bends and slides on standard guitar"] approach
Era and region-appropriate tone design (Kemper, NAM, vintage modulation)
24-bit/48kHz WAV stems
Wet and DI versions
2 revisions
Typical turnaround: 5 to 7 days

Where this fits

Maqam / Arabic music — quartertone phrasing, ornamentation, taqsim-style improvisation
Turkish / Persian textures — modal phrasing with non-tempered intervals
Indian-inspired lines — meend-style bends, microtonal slides, drone backing
Desert blues — Tinariwen-influenced bent-interval phrasing
Experimental rock / prog — King Gizzard-style microtonal sections, avant-garde leads
Film & game score — exotic textures, tension cues, otherworldly atmospheres
Contemporary classical — non-12-tone melodic writing, microtonal harmony support

My approach :
30 years on the instrument means I've spent decades training my ear to hear between the notes. [à compléter : décrire brièvement ta vraie pratique microtonale — gear utilisé, formations, références]. I won't pretend to be an ethnomusicologist — but I can serve your project with respect for the tradition and pro-grade recording quality.

What I won't do
Pretend cultural authority I don't have. If your project requires deep traditional accuracy (a specific maqam played by a heritage-bearing oud player, for example), you should hire a specialist of that tradition. I'm best as a bridge — bringing microtonal color into productions that mix Western and non-Western elements, or into experimental projects where the goal is evocation rather than tradition.

Gig add-ons
