I'm Dan, a UK-based session vocalist, topline writer and producer with over 10 years working professionally.

Background: I'm a former West End performer — I appeared in The Book of Mormon in London and worked alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber on his revival of The Woman in White — and I hold a songwriting and production degree from BIMM Brighton. Records I've sung on or produced have had BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra airplay and over 4.1 million Spotify streams, and I've been named BBC Introducing's Artist of the Week.

Voice: warm and soulful with a wide range. Closest reference points are Teddy Swims, Tom Misch and Sam Fender. I work across Pop, R&B, Folk, EDM, Rock and Musical theatre, and I'm equally at home on an intimate ballad or a full anthemic chorus.

Studio and gear: I record in my own treated studio running Logic Pro X, through a SM7B mic and a clean preamp chain, so every take arrives consistent and up to industry standard.

My process: send me your instrumental along with any lyrics, references and notes on the feel you're after. I'll record a short free sample so you can hear my voice on your song before you commit to anything. Once we're both happy, I'll track the full vocal, comp and tune it, and send everything over with a reference mix. Standard turnaround is 7 days.

Revisions cover small changes — a line, a word, a harmony you want brighter. A full re-record or a change of vocal style is a new session and priced separately.
