Creative and versatile drummer with experience in a wide range of styles for $100

Hi there. I'm Chris and I'm a native of Melbourne, Australia currently living in Nashville. I have been playing and recording drums for 25 years and have great experience performing a wide range of styles with a variety of artists and bands.

I enjoy recording and adding tracks to people's projects, and I'm very creative with what I play. I come from a jazz and jazz-fusion (or jazz-rock) background - something that no doubt flavours what I do and adds a different dimension to the music.

I also specialise in country, pop, rock and groove-based styles, and I aim to add exactly what any client or producer would like to have added to their track.

In terms of process, I am happy to work with a backing track that is a mixdown of the song - or a handful of stems is totally fine as well, I will record a handful of takes, generally up to five, and I will deliver them to you as separate stems in folder so that you can easily import them into your DAW. I can generally get the track back to you in three to five days of which having the backing tracks/stems ahead of time would of course be helpful.

In terms of gear, I record and edit and Logic, and my recording and instrument chain consists of the likes of AKG C480B, Rode NT2A, sE Electronics X1R, Transformer-swapped Shure SM57, AKG 451EB, Pickstone Audio Class A preamps, RME converters & preamps, Pearl Session Select drums, Ludwig Supraphonic, Black Beauty & Acrolite, Instanbul Agop, Sabian HHX Legacy, Zildjian K, Paiste 2002 Big Beat.

I can also add some hand percussion as needed. Nothing exotic but rather than basics such as tambourines and shakers.
