I've been playing in studios for 25 years as a first call session player in real world sessions, online drum recording and the online recording of midi drums.

Have performed live drums on records for Sony, WEA, Polygram, Universal, Nettwerk, EMI, Sparrow, Reunion and Word records. 1 of 3 drummers on the 2010 Winter Olympics music pre-record, closing ceremonies pre-record of the 2011 IOC Arab Games, as well as many jingles and soundtracks.

He performed for Electronic Arts on the best selling sports video game series of all time, NBA LIVE as a member of the NBA LIVE Orchestra for the now world famous Humble Brothers remix team with their massive soundtracks as well as Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2, Motor City USA and The Simpson’s Road Rage. Other notables were playing on the NBA promotional video starring Montell Jordan that went around the world in 2003 and gaming music for Bally Casinos in Las Vegas. Other recent tracking includes Holly McNarland, Lebanon’s Julia Boutros and Michel Fadel, Iranian recording artist Kaveh Yaghmaei, Hong Kong male sensation Eason Chan, Serena Ryder, Juno Award winning tracks for Brian Doerksen and guitar virtuoso Hedras Ramos of Guatemala.

This is NOT a basement or garage studio . This is a purpose built fully professional recording studio, designed by the famed John Vertasik with high ceilings and very low noise floor!
The kit is SONOR 5 piece maple and a beautiful fat and warm studio kit, a choice of 7 top brand snare drums, Ludwig Black Beauty often being the go-to snare. Cymbals are Zildjian K's in different arrays right down to splashes if required. All drum heads courtesy of Remo.
Microphones are AKG 414-EG's ($5500 a pair!)overheads, D-112 on Kick,
Shure SM 57 on Snare, top and bottom, AKG 451 on Hi Hat, Senhheiser 421's on Toms, ADK Vienna mic's on the Room.

Preamps are Class 'A' Focusrite, API and Universal Audio. Conversion is excellent utilizing UA Apollo. Computer platform is Logic Audio on Mac.

In short, very experienced and nuanced player with many credits in combination with a fully professional recording studio live room, and Class 'A" mics, pre's and audio to digital conversion !
