Professional Studio Drum Recordings for $75

Are you looking for some high-quality multitrack drum recordings that won't break the bank? Well, I've got just what you need!

My name is Dan Harris and I am a drummer/recording engineer based in Greensboro, NC. I have a B.S. in Music Technology from UNC Asheville. Throughout my years playing drums and in my program at UNCA, I've gained lots of experience recording, playing, and mixing drums and with this experience, I can get the sounds that you want in a drum recording!

I am comfortable in all styles: Pop, Country, Rock, Blues, Funk, Fusion, Indie, Ballad, etc.

My Gear:

Drums:
A beautiful Made in Japan Yamaha Maple Custom drum set from the 90s. Sizes 8”, 10”, 12”, 14”, and 16” toms, and a 20” kick drum.
Pearl Ultracast 14” x 5” aluminum snare.
Ludwig 14” x 5” Steel snare.
Pearl 13” piccolo snare.
A few other random drums here and there but those are my go-to’s 90% of the time.

Cymbals:
70s Zildjian A 14” Hihats
70s Zildjian A 20” Medium Ride that I just had modded by Timothy Roberts at Reverie Drums to be more of a crash-ride.
22” Zildjian K Light Ride.
20” Zildjian K Constantinople Bounce Ride.
19” Zildjian K Dark Thin Crash
16” Zildjian crashes that I love as beefy Hihats but also great-sounding crashes!
Other random cymbals from Sabian, Meinl, and Dream.

Miscellaneous:
All sorts of percussion instruments.
Big Fat Snare Drum OG, Donut, Quesidlla, and Cow Moo for some great 70’s sounding drums.

Recording:
I record with 2 UA Apollo x8p’s.
A wide variety of microphones from brands such as Shure, Beyerdynamic, SE Electronics, Warm Audio, Vanguard, Cascade, Electro-Voice, and a bunch of other fun ones like a telephone mic encased in an old Budweiser can.
In the space I record in, I can choose between a small isolated “dead” room or a large live room.

How it'll work:
You send me an MP3 or WAV File with the BPM, bit-depth, and sample rate so everything lines up and sounds right. And we can also discuss the style and all of the details of your song and what kind of drum track you would like before I start recording.
After recording, I'll send you a quick stereo mix of the drums with your song and we can talk about any changes that you would like.
Once the part is what you would like for the song, I'll send you the individual dry stems edited with the best takes and a stereo mix of what I think sounds good for the song which you can use or not!

Looking forward to working with you!
