Let me use my 30+ years of session and touring experience to create the perfect drum track for your project. I am very song and singer oriented in my approach to creating a solid, supporting rhythmic foundation to each track. I love to incorporate unique sounds and textures into the groove when it's is applicable.

I was the drummer and music director for singer/songwriter Robert Earl Keen from 1997 until Robert retired from touring in September of 2022. Before that, I was the original drummer for the Dixie Chicks, recording and touring in the US, Japan and Europe. In addition, I've been very active as a freelance drummer, both live and in the studio, for a variety of diverse artists including Cross Canadian Ragweed, the Platters, Bo Diddley, Ricky Skaggs, Larry Coryell, Tyler Childers and Lee Ann Womack.

As a member of the Austin City Limits "All Star House Band", I've performed with Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Kris Kristofferson, Jeff Bridges, Doyle Bramhall II, Gary Clark Jr, Jimmy Vaughn, Joe Ely, Brittany Howard, Taj Majal, Mavis Staples, Willie Nelson, Rodney Crowell, Chris Isaak, Neko Case, Brandi Carlisle, Elvis Costello, Rosanne Cash, John Leventhal, Ry Cooder, Raul Malo, Norah Jones, Ruthie Foster, Lucinda Williams, Margo Price, Jason Isbell, Alejandro Escovedo, Sheila E, Wilco, Marcia Ball, the Flatlanders, Brittney Spencer.

My main DAW is Ableton and I usually record 8 -12 mics, depending on the projects needs. I normally send individual, non-mixed tracks so you can set effects and EQ's in the mix the way it best fits into your project.

I have vintage Ludwig and Yamaha drum, sets as well as, 5 Mapex kits of different sizes and shell types. I have a large collection of Sabian Cymbals and lots of percussion to get the right sound, texture and vibe for your project.
