I’m Dan, a drummer and recording engineer with a BS in Music Technology from UNC Asheville. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to play with a variety of artists, from singer-songwriters like Frances Eliza and William Hinson to bands like Barefoot Modern and Chuck Mountain, both in the studio and live. I’ve always loved bringing a strong rhythm to a song, and my experience spans across all kinds of musical settings.

With over 15 years of experience, I have honed my craft through
work in professional studios and home recording environments,
developing a deep understanding of how to capture musical, mix-
ready drum sounds. This hands-on process has shaped a carefully
curated collection of drums/percussion, microphones, and outboard gear.

Now based in Western New York, I'm running a dedicated home drum
studio built for remote recording, delivering custom performances
that range from subtle and supportive to powerful and driving. I look forward to collaborating closely with songwriters, producers, and bands to
provide high-quality, human-feeling drum tracks that elevate each
song while respecting the artist’s vision.

How it'll work:
- You send me an MP3 or WAV File with the BPM, bit-depth, and sample rate so everything lines up and sounds right. And we can also discuss the style and all of the details of your song and what kind of drum track you would like before I start recording.
- After recording, I'll send you a quick stereo mix of the drums with your song and we can talk about any changes that you would like.
- Once the recording is what you would like for the song, I'll send you the individual tracks, or if you would like I can do a stereo mix.
