High Quality Drum Stems for $75
I record my drums as MIDI, using a Roland TD-17kl drum kit running through a Get Good Drums plugin.
The result is high quality drum stems on up to 16 tracks, which are customisable to suit your mixing preferences. Personally, I like to have:
- Kick
- Snare Top (with bleed lowered slightly, but still some in to keep it natural sounding)
- Snare Bottom
- Tom 1
- Tom 2 (a third tom is available but I find it's not needed often)
- Hi Hats
- Ride
- SDC Overhead (repurposed as a close mic for crashes, everything else removed)
- LDC Overhead
- Room Mono
- Close Room Mic
- Far Room Mic (with cymbals removed, to give the shells the extra push they need)
Other options include a china, splash, and customising the kit sounds if you are so inclined.
If you have no preferences, I will pick the drum sounds I think match your song best and send you the stems in the format listed above!
Whilst working towards the final product, I will initially send out a rough stereo mix of the drums, and when you are happy you will receive all the stems to mix yourself!
