Hello, I’m Mart Evans. Originally from the UK and now based in Philly, I deliver organic MIDI drum tracks for artists and producers who need the flexibility that MIDI offers but with the touch and nuance that only a real drummer can bring. I've been playing for almost 40 years and started remote work in 2021.

I consider myself a song drummer. I’m all about finding the space in a track and letting the music breathe. If you're looking for someone to fly around the kit at 100mph and use all the notes, I'm probably not the right person for you. While my roots are in rock/pop, I’m versatile and comfortable across most genres, except perhaps the really heavy stuff. Check with me first and I'll let you know if I’m a fit.

Even though I work exclusively with MIDI, I don't use the technology as a crutch. Everything is played live with no shortcuts everything feels organic and musical. This means no programming, no third-party loops, and absolutely no use of the dreaded A word.

For my per-song rate, you’ll get:

• A MIDI file mapped to the VST of your choice or GM.

• If requested, I can provide full multitrack audio and single stereo reference mix sourced from industry-standard libraries such as Superior Drummer 3, EZDrummer 3, GGD, Slate, etc. If you use Toontrack products, I can provide the relevant project file as well.

• Free revisions within reason.

• Delivery within three days. Express delivery is available, so if you have a deadline, just let me know.
