I’m a drummer with 40 years of experience, delivering organic, live-played MIDI drum tracks for artists and producers across all levels. I prioritize pocket and groove over flashy chops. No AI or programming. I focus on feel and serving the song.

MY APPROACH:

Even though I work exclusively with MIDI, I don't use the technology as a crutch. Everything is played live to ensure the track feels organic. This means no programming, no third-party loops, and no AI.

My roots are in Rock and Pop but I'm versatile and open to most genres. I’m all about finding the space in a track and letting the music breathe. If you need a drummer to fly around the kit at 100 mph, I might not be the fit. But if you want a solid track with no fluff, I’m your guy.

My recent client list includes Norwegian darkwave outfit Long Night, Mike Lawson & Friends (featuring Phil Keaggy), and the Celtic World Orchestra, appearing on tracks with Iain Hornal and Fiona Joy Hawkins. I also work with emerging songwriters such as Henry Louris and Alex Catchings.

THE WORKFLOW:

My process is collaborative and efficient. I’m a Toontrack specialist and work primarily in Superior Drummer 3, providing multiple initial takes to help us lock in the vibe and quickly focus on what the track needs. Other libraries are available if requested, including Steven Slate and GGD.

YOU RECEIVE:

• The raw MIDI file mapped to your specific VST (plus Toontrack project files if applicable)

• Audio as full multitrack and stereo reference mix (48kHz/24bit WAV - other rates upon request)

• Sounds sourced from industry-standard libraries (Superior Drummer 3, GGD, Slate, etc.)
