I deliver organic, live-tracked MIDI drums for artists and producers who need the flexibility of MIDI but the feel of a real player. I’m a song drummer with 40 years of experience, prioritizing pocket and groove over flashy chops. No AI, no programming. Just real human performance captured as MIDI. I serve the song, not the ego.

MY APPROACH:

Even though I work exclusively with MIDI, I don't use the technology as a crutch. Everything is played live to ensure the track feels organic. This means no programming, no third-party loops, and no gridded performances. My roots are in Rock and Pop but I'm versatile and open to most genres. I’m all about finding the space in a track and letting the music breathe. If you need a drummer to fly around the kit at 100 mph, I might not be the fit. But if you want a solid track with no fluff, I’m your guy.

My recent client list includes Norwegian darkwave outfit Long Night, Mike Lawson & Friends (featuring Phil Keaggy), and the Celtic World Orchestra, appearing on tracks with Iain Hornal and Fiona Joy Hawkins. My process is designed to be collaborative and efficient. To help us lock in the vibe, I provide multiple initial takes within your brief for you to choose from. This allows us to zero in on what the track needs quickly.
