Vintage-Inspired Drums for Your Next Record for $125

I’m Micah Smith, a Louisiana-based session drummer recording live drums from my own studio. My playing draws from classic rock, soul, Motown, and the sounds of the ’60s and ’70s, with a focus on groove, feel, and playing what your song needs.

Whether you have a specific drum part in mind or need me to create one, I’ll work from your demo and references to find the right approach.

This service includes:
• Live drum recording for one song up to 5 minutes
• One complete drum performance tailored to your song
• Separate, unprocessed WAV files for each recorded microphone, aligned to the same start point
• A stereo drum mix for reference
• Two rounds of revisions to adjust the agreed drum part

I record in Logic Pro using acoustic drums, a selection of snares, Lauten LA-220 microphones, and a Universal Audio Apollo interface. Drum tuning and setup are chosen to suit your track.

Please send your song, a version without drums if available, the tempo or click track if you have one, and any reference songs or notes. A rough demo is welcome.

Revisions cover adjustments to the original direction. A new arrangement, a different song, or a complete change in style can be quoted separately. Detailed timing correction and additional alternate takes are not included.

Please message me before ordering so we can discuss your sound, confirm the scope, and agree on a delivery date
