Pro Bass Guitar on Your Song for $250
I work in a home studio with pro gear, I will play bass on one song and include one revision. I prefer to play to real drums and find that sweet spot for my bass to sit in. Electronic is cool too or even click if that's all you have at the moment. The key for me is to get into your music, find the passion and roll with it.
Singal chain: Bass-Radial Passive DI-Black Lion B173 MKII-Focusrite Saffire Converter.
In The Box: Compressor (if needed)-Amp Sim (if needed)-Channel Strip (many to chose from)(if needed). Recording is tracked at the file conversion you specify and exported the same as a .wav file.
I like to keep it clean with no EQ, I like to let it be as organic as possible so you or your engineer can work with the tone as you please. I also try to keep the bass at around 0dBvu.
You Get Four Stems
1. Basic bass track very straight and no frills
2. A bit more movement in the bass with some fills
3. Even more movement in the bass track and maybe some interesting parts no one thought of
4. A comp of what I think works
If I'm 99% there and you have a note, I'll provide one revision with one stem.
