I play bass since 1999, and can handle any genre.
I record with my Fender Jazz Bass Professional, through a VT bass DI from Tech21, can add some flavours with Malekko b:assmaster and Dunlop Bass wah-wah.
For acoustic, I record with the Kala U-bass plugged in the Hi-Z.
I like hearing the narrative behind the song to bring the best cohesive track for each case. As standard I prefer to keep things simple, unless the necessities are different.
I use Apogee Duet interface through Logic Pro X in my iMac.
I'll send one track with and another without compression of the same performance.
