Music production consultations, from an experienced faculty leader with over 25 years industry and education experience for $60

I have been an educator for over 25 years, and a practicing musician and engineer for longer than that. I have experience both in the classroom and online and have been the faculty leader in multiple education establishments. I have commissioned and setup multiple recording studios and private production spaces. I can offer guidance and support for anyone interested in music and technology, at any level. I offer 60-minute consultations, from my personal recording studio, via Zoom.

If you need help with recording, mixing, music theory, songwriting, learning to use a DAW, or need support for an academic course, please reach out. I also offer advice on equipment setup, gear purchases and getting the most out of the equipment you already own.

What topics can we cover in your sessions?
Anything audio and music related! Including but not limited to: recording, editing, music production, composition, producing, mixing and mastering techniques, tips and tricks, how to get the most out of your equipment, gear advice, problem solving.

Do I need any prior experience?
No experience necessary, if you’re just starting out or a seasoned professional, we can all benefit from some outside guidance and perspective. All you need is the interest.

How long are sessions?
Sessions are 60 minutes in length and take place as a call on Zoom.

What software or tools do I need for the tuition sessions?
A zoom account (there are free options) and a stable internet connection. A webcam, microphone and headphones can improve the experience.

Which DAW do you use?
I primarily work in Pro Tools, and Logic Pro, but have experience in many others including: Cubase, Reaper and Garageband. Content covered is transferrable to other DAWs
