I have a reputation in the Uk for being able to balance alternative ideas with the commercial aesthetic demanded by radio and playlist curators.
Although I have 30 years of studio experience(RAK, Abbey Road, Rockfield..) I am focussed entirely in the present and finding new methods. All of us are reinventing ourselves all the time!!
The last decade has been focussed on mixing and I think I've figured it out now!
A piece of music can live or die by the quality of the mix, and if you want to get reaction you need to know how to unleash the full potential of the recordings.
My set up is all in the box. Emulations of the top studio hardware are incredible.

Here are some technical things:

Track Count.
I'm fine with any number. If it exceeds the limits of the DAW then we can talk about it.

Editing. Sometimes a mix can be improved with some judicious editing and re thinking of parts. This is available if wanted.
Comping of tracks is available too but is not advised as it really is a production job.

Post Production. It may be that your song needs some post production before it's mixed, say some better sounds in the midi domain. I have all the latest software ( NI and Arturia +++) that can elevate your music.

Revisions. I have not had any problems with revisions for years as the quality of my work is high. Naturally there are revisions and I'm happy to do them. Digital tech makes these things easy. I think as long as there is a conversation about the direction before we start then it will always be a question of detail.

DAW. I mix in Pro Tools but can handle sessions in Logic Pro. You would either send me stems or the whole session. Sending the session allows me to take care of the track management which some people prefer.
Style

AI. I don't use AI but stem splitters can be useful if you want to remix something and you only have a two track stereo file.

Mastering. I can Include Mastering if you are looking to keep things simple!

I have worked in all sorts of styles and genres, from guitar rock to hip hop. I have predominantly worked in the world of guitar music but have bought those skills to other genres with success.
