Mixing & mastering song Metal / Rock / Pop / EDM for $200

I started mixing 10 years ago for my YouTube channel and my own songs.

I assume you already have the audio tracks recorded and ready to be mixed. If you're working on an album, we can talk about discounts after the first mix is done.

I'm specialized in heavy metal & metalcore but I'm open to trying out new genres. Order a sample for $10 and I'll make a quick (but not that polished) mix so you can have an idea of what can be achieved :)

My thought process: The client is always right. You'll send me a description of the sound you're aiming for. My software of choice is Cubase Pro 12. I'll shape the sound with effects (eq, compression, reverb, chorus, etc). Every instrument will have clarity and punch. I can go after a certain artist's sound, by comparing his eq with my mix. I will re-amp guitars if you have DI tracks, at no additional cost. I'll do volume automation for each track. This will emphasize every instrument where needed. E. g. Guitars will be slightly quieter in the verse section to make room for vocals. Chorus section will be more noticeable and wider. Solos and instrumental phrases will shine through. I believe emphasizing sections is the most important ingredient to an already well balanced mix. This is what brings the Frankenstein alive! Finally, I'll master the song; give it a final touch with effects on the master channel and bring it to a proper volume so that it's ready to be released on YouTube, Spotify and CD.
Of course, I'm open to revisions until you're happy with the final result, and will keep you updated and send you raw mixes as I'm going through the stages or taking key decisions.

For best results, I'll advise you to re-record certain parts, or add new layers where needed. Practice makes it perfect :)

Special requirements: While I can do midi editing for drums and synths, manually clean audio tracks of noise, this is time consuming work and I would need to treat these as separate services. I can also lay down vocal tracks, electric / acoustic guitar tracks, violin and piano / synths. Contact me for details
