My name is Axel, I am a producer, drummer and pianist. I am currently a film music student and aditionally I've completed some mixing, mastering and audio editing workshops outside my career. I´d love to share my expertise to help you achieve the best results for your projects.

Why is it necessary to mix my song?

The main reason is because it is the step before mastering. Without a good mix it's impossible to get the master right.

The second reason is that it helps me to clean, level and polish my song.



What does a mix entails?

1- Volume balance (I make sure everything sounds even).

2- Panning of the elements (It allows me to separate the instruments)

3- Polarity and Phase check (I check that there are no cancellations between the instruments)

4- EQ (With the equalization I manage to clean the sounds and even give them color)

5- Compression (Allows to control the dynamics of each instrument)

6- Depth with spatiality effects (Reverb, Delay)
