I don't currently own any analog equipment, but the most important thing in mastering is to correct the major problems in the song. For example: uncontrolled dynamics, unbalanced mid-side, general equalization, dyn/mid-side equalization, inconsistent three-dimensionality (height, depth, and width), volume balance, correct panning, tracks with timing errors, alignment, phase, clicks (mix coaching), exporting to different formats for different platforms, etc.
If you think about it, none of these problems that completely ruin a song can be solved with the “warmth of analog mastering.” Don't worry about the harmonic richness of a compressor; instead, worry about hiring someone who listens and solves the real problems your song has.
Not Included: This service does not include music production (composition, arrangements, sound design, recording of additional instruments or vocals, or structural editing of the song). The service focuses exclusively on the professional mixing of material already produced and recorded by the client.
