Hi, I’m Giuliano, a freelance mixing and mastering engineer and lifelong music enthusiast. I grew up listening to rock, progressive, fusion, jazz, and heavier music, and started playing piano and keyboards at the age of 12. Over the years I’ve performed many live shows with bands, and that musician’s perspective strongly shapes the way I approach mixing.

My specialty is working with real bands, especially guitar-driven music where energy, precision, and impact are essential. In metal, I focus on preserving the power and interaction between drums, bass, guitars, vocals, and keyboards while making sure every element has definition, weight, and its own space in the mix.

When mixing metal, I pay particular attention to tight drums, solid low end, aggressive yet controlled guitars, clear vocals, and the overall punch of the performance. My goal is to make the track sound powerful, heavy, and professional without losing the groove, dynamics, and emotion that make a real band feel alive.

I can keep the natural intensity of a performance while adding body, clarity, and depth, or — when the production calls for it — shape the song into a tighter, louder, modern metal sound with strong impact and competitive loudness.
