Tuned & Untuned Orchestral, Latin & Pop Percussion - all styles for $99

Is MIDI getting you down? Are virtual percussion instruments just not cutting it?

Are you a composer that wants real percussion to liven up your tracks?

Are you an independent musician that wants a marimba on your new single?

Are you a soul band that has a fever and the only prescription is real cowbell? (and congas, and shaker, and tambourine, and the kitchen sink... No, really, if you want a kitchen sink I can make it happen!)

I can help!

My name is Hugh and I am a full-time freelance percussionist. I perform regularly with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Opera Australia Orchestra and I have a masters degree in Music Performance as well as a Cert III in Music Industry (Technical Production) - so you can be sure that the parts will not only be played well, they'll be recorded well too!!! In addition to orchestral work I have played in a number of rock, pop, soul & jazz bands on both percussion and kit, and I love playing all different genres of music. Marimba, congas, tambourine, drum kit, shaker, glockenspiel, xylophone, triangle, crash cymbals, Chinese opera gong, Tibetan singing bowl... I have all these instruments and many more - I'd love to play them on your track.

All tracks are recorded at my studio in Sydney, Australia through my Focusrite Scarlett and Octopre Platinum. I have a range of professional microphones that I can match to the instrument and style to give you the best result. The recorded tracks can be delivered as raw tracks, processed tracks, or mixed stems - whatever you need!

I'm a fluent reader and can work from sheet music no matter how complex. If you don't have charts I'm more than happy to work with you to come up with something that will lift your track to the next level. With a money-back guarantee, what do you have to lose?
