Highland Fiddle Session Recording — Any Genre for $100

Highland fiddle player currently based in the Philippines, bringing genre-crossing versatility to your track- traditional Scottish, folk, blues, indie folk, ambient/soundscape and cross-cultural fusion work.

Selected past work: commissioned composition and recording marking the 250-year folk connection between the Isle of Skye and Prince Edward Island; blues collaboration with Paul Marney; indie folk recording with Whiskey Bear. My own album work blends Highland fiddle with the musical traditions and genres of the artists I collaborate with here in the Philippines.

Gear & studio: DPA condenser mic on fiddle → Boss AD-2 Acoustic Preamp → Yamaha MG06X mixing console → Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface, recorded and edited in Logic Pro, delivered as clean stems ready to drop into your mix.

This service includes: 1 fiddle track (single line, not layered strings), up to 3 takes recorded per session, and 2 rounds of revisions included in the price. Additional layered parts, harmony lines, or extra revisions available on request — just message me before ordering so we can agree a fair price for the extra work.

What you get: musicality and feel, not just technical playing — happy to interpret a rough idea, match an existing part, or bring original melodic ideas if you want a collaborator rather than just a hired part.

Genres I'm especially strong in: traditional/folk, blues, indie folk, world/fusion, ambient and soundscape work, singer-songwriter and anything that wants a fiddle to do something a little unexpected.
