I've been writing and producing music for over 25 years, and have worked with many of the top artists in town. I work mainly "in the box", but my studio is equipped with various high end mics and preamps as well, so I'm able to record music beds and backing vocals and instrumentation if needed. There is a miked acoustic drum kit for producing high-quality live drum tracks in any style set up in the studio as well. I offer full service production including pitch and timing correction to ensure tight, polished performances, drum and MIDI programming, and creative post-production effects to enhance key moments such as choruses and breakdowns. I mix with a focus on balance and energy, then master tracks to competitive commercial standards—clean, powerful, and radio-ready.

Cubase is my primary DAW and I mainly use Slate, UAD, and Izotope plugins. Addictive Drums is my main drum program, and I also have all sorts of synths and thousands of samples via Cubase, Slate, and Kontakt.

Additionally, as an active performing musician myself, I frequently collaborate with some of Austin’s top session players—many of whom are available to contribute to your project.

Services & workflow:
- Talk to you, the artist, to get an idea of the direction and style of the song
- Download and organize tracks
- Time align / edit drums and other rhythm section instruments, if needed
- Pitch correct all vocals, if needed or requested. I can fix just about any phrasing issues as well
- Eq, gate, compress, and add modulation and ambient effects to all tracks, as needed
- Add a number of automation fx to create impact on choruses and breakdowns.
- Add post production fx like impact samples and cymbal swells
- Mix & master to commercial standards
- Once you're satisfied with the mix, I'll render it to the following file types:
- mp3
- 24 bit WAV (streaming & video)
- 16 bit WAV (CD...I hear they're coming back)
- Mastered isolated stem of each group ie DRUMS, BASS, GUITARS, LEAD VOCALS, BACKING VOCALS
