I'm Dudu Prudente, a percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, composer, sound creator, and mixing engineer, born in Brazil and based in Belgium. I hold a degree in Communication from Universidade Tiradentes (Sergipe, Brazil), Audio and Music Production from IATEC-RJ (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), and I am currently undergoing training in electroacoustic and acousmatic music at the Musique et Recherche Institute (Belgium).

Over the course of 27 years, I have worked with various groups and artists in world music (especially the more percussive styles), electronic, low-fi, rock, pop, and experimental genres. Therefore, if you are seeking production with these types of sounds, then I believe I can collaborate well with you.

I enjoy working with rhythms, drums, original beats, and sound textures, always with an experimental approach, understanding sound as a highly manipulable material capable of generating colors, images, and different sensations.

I have a recording studio in Brazil and a studio-atelier in Belgium. Technically, I work with a hybrid setup, including analog equipment such as tape, effects, compressors, and preamplifiers, as well as high-reference plugins in the market. However, I understand that the most important aspects are artistic sensitivity, listening skills, and the ability to communicate through music, regardless of how it was produced.

I offer music production, mixing, drum and percussion recording, arrangement creation, beat production, and sound texture services.

HOW I WORK:

- Simply tell me about your music and how you would like it to sound. Send stems or demos you have already recorded, or let me produce the recording from scratch;

- I provide up to 2 revisions for mixing (additional revisions have a cost of $25 per major revision request);

- The quoted price includes 1 professional mixing;

- You will receive a Master WAV (24 bits, 44.1kHz) of the production, an MP3 version, and an instrumental version;

- Mix stems will be provided upon request if you wish to have the song(s) professionally mastered;

- Turnaround time is usually 1 to 2 weeks, but if you have an urgent deadline, let me know and I will see what I can do!
