Hello! I started out playing bass for Lana Del Rey back in 2007. Since then I have toured the country in many bands but I always preferred to be recording in the studio than on the road.
For the last five years or so I have built up a wide collection of vintage and rare audio gear. The reason for this is to capture the timeless, nostalgic and atmospheric sounds of older recordings. I bring these techniques into the modern age but creating a sound that is current but also timeless. I believe that music should transport the listener to a completely different world. My Ampex 440 8 track was built in 1969 by nasa engineers and is one of the best recorders in the world. I have a variety of high end vintage compressors, eqs and microphones at my disposal to craft the moody, lofi sound you are looking for.
