My process as a producer comes from my history as a touring musician, musical director, and studio musician. I started playing guitar when I twelve when my mom bought me a guitar for Christmas. I could tell pretty quickly that I heard music in a different way from most people, and began to fall in love with learning to play any musical instrument I could get my hands on. I went to college for Guitar and Sound Engineering (aka recording) and started touring shortly afterwords with some of the best musicians around the country. What I bring to the table that a lot of producers don't have is a deep understanding of music, a high level of proficiency on many instruments (Guitar; including acoustic, electric, classical, and slide; Keys, Organ, Bass, Mandolin, etc), a theoretical knowledge of music that translates to being able to arrange strings and horns, and a relationship with very high level musicians that can help fill in any gaps I can't.
