1-to-1 Online Mixing Lessons With a Working Engineer, On Your Own Songs (Price per 2 hours) for $135

Learn to mix properly with a working mix engineer. I'm Ralph, a UK-based mixing engineer with about 9 years of professional studio experience, a degree in Music Production, and over 20 years as a musician.

Rather than teaching EQ, compression and so on as separate topics, I teach a complete mixing workflow: a clear, step-by-step process that takes a song from raw multitracks to a finished mix. It's the same process I use on client records every week.

What you get
A 2-hour live one-to-one lesson over video call with screen sharing
We work on your own project wherever possible, so you learn on music you care about
Real-time mixing with every decision explained, then you put it into practice
A recording of the session to rewatch
A short written action plan with what to work on next

Learning to mix properly takes time. My full workflow usually runs over 10 or more lessons, building one stage at a time. Single lessons are great for tackling a specific problem (vocals sitting wrong, a muddy low end). If you want to learn the whole process, subscribing is the best way to do it.

How it works
Order and message me with what you're working on and your goals
Send your session or stems ahead of time
We agree a time (I'm on UK time, weekday mornings to early afternoon)
We mix together, and you get the recording and notes afterwards

Suitable for artists mixing their own music, aspiring engineers and producers, from beginner to advanced. I teach in Pro Tools, or Logic Pro and the principles apply to any DAW. Most of what I teach works in any genre, from folk to metal to EDM. I can also offer genre-specific techniques.
