As a classically trained pianist, with a degree in Piano Performance from Southern Oregon University, Ron has also composed, orchestrated and arranged in many varying styles. He continues to arrange and orchestrate music for former Miss America 2002 and soprano, Katie Harman, and Martin Reeves (Kingdom Kids, Sydney Australia). Ron recently released a CD featuring his arrangements for piano, violin and orchestra. Styles in arranging include traditional to modern electronic. Ron has access to many experienced studio musicians to get the quality your arrangement deserves. His mentors include pianist Alexander Tutunov and keyboardist Oliver Palotai of Kamelot. In the studio, Ron works with producer and recording engineer Nate Mason, and uses Cubase and Protools. An extensive sound sample library is used, from East West Quantum Leap, Native Instruments, and Action Strikes. Ron has performed with the Tony Award winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival, as pianist, and is currently the Music/Choral Director for Trinity Presbyterian Church and Ashland First Baptist Church.
