I’m a drummer and home-recording musician specializing in natural, live-performed MIDI drums for rock, indie, Americana, country, pop-rock, prog-rock and singer-songwriter music.
I perform drum parts on an electronic kit and capture the actual performance as MIDI, preserving the timing, dynamics and feel of a real drummer. I then edit and refine the performance in Logic Pro and EZdrummer 3, including timing, velocity, articulations, fills and drum mapping.

I can work from demos, reference tracks, existing drum ideas or written/programmed parts, and can deliver edited MIDI, stereo drum mixes and individual drum stems depending on the project.

I also offer drum MIDI editing and programming, timing and velocity cleanup, and refinement of existing drum performances.

My approach is always song-first: natural groove, musical dynamics and drum parts that support the arrangement rather than sounding mechanically programmed.
