Hi! I’m Kip, a non-binary freelance sound engineer, specialising in vocal editing, mixing, and mastering.

I don't specialise in a single genre. I'll work with anyone, but I generally have tended to work with women, queer people of all sorts, non-binary, and trans artists who want a mix and master that doesn't compromise their artistic vision to make it have so-called "mass appeal". As queer people, we often want to create art that speaks to our own subgenres and preferences, even if it doesn't have appeal for cis-het audiences. I love artists who defy categorisation or genre, because I think genre (although sometimes useful for listeners) can be a bit of a silly construct and sometimes really limiting for artists. I'm here to help you make the songs that YOU want to make, regardless of what other people think.

I stand out as a sound engineer because of my respectful, non-nonsense, and plain-english approach. Even in highly technical processes, I try to make the process as easy-to-understand as possible without using too much technical jargon.
